Join a diverse group of individuals who share the common goal of working towards body acceptance and appreciation.
The Body Acceptance Group is designed to create a weight inclusive community for individuals of all body sizes and genders. This is a space to heal, learn, and grow together in an environment free from judgment and full of compassion.
Body Acceptance groups are led twice monthly. One group is led by our psychotherapist, Megan Brockman, with an emphasis on psychological healing and recovery. The second group is led by our registered dietitian, Samantha Totsky. This group has an emphasis on nutrition education and strategies that build a healthier relationship with your body and food.
In this way, Body Acceptance group members can choose between a therapeutic perspective and a nutrition perspective or participate in both!
The mental health group led by Megan takes place on the 1st Tuesday of every month and the Nutrition group led by Sam is on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
