Body Acceptance - Mental Health

Megan is a psychotherapist who has specialized in the field of eating disorders for the past 10 years. Megan has worked in inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient levels of care. She has also worked as a clinical director of an eating disorder treatment program, working on program development and providing supervision to other therapists in the field. Megan is currently an officeholder with Milwaukee’s chapter of The International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals and frequently attends continuing education and other community events to help raise awareness for eating disorder recovery and treatment options. 
Megan has a strong passion for educating clients and others in the community about the various presentations of disordered eating that often go overlooked. She is also passionate about guiding clients to increase self-compassion and self care while learning to live a life that is not shadowed by body shame. Megan’s practice is aligned with an anti-diet and Health at Every Size (HAES) approach, and focuses on holistic mind, body, and spirit wellness.
