Elle Word: Peaceful
Who inspires me:
I am inspired by the belief that every moment is a new opportunity and by the resiliency I see in those I work with. My inspiration also comes from the beauty and healing power of connection; connection with others, connection with ourselves and connection with nature.

Credentials:
Licensed Professional Counselor
Licensed K-12 School Counselor
Specialty:
I am passionate about helping people work through a variety of concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, life stressors, as well as family and life transitions. I work with children (ages 6+), adolescents, adults, and families. I have been in both the school counseling and private practice therapy fields for over 10 years.
Approach:
A trusting client-therapist relationship is essential to the therapeutic process, therefore I make that a priority. I am dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable and non-judgmental environment to allow a climate for self-exploration and growth. I recognize that each person is unique, therefore my therapeutic approach is eclectic. I incorporate both traditional and innovative modalities into my practice; which may include Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness and psycho-education about the mindbody connection, to name a few.
